Parama Brahman

Nirguna and Saguna Brahma.

Nirguna Brahma is Brahma without attributes

Saguna Brahma is Brahma with attributes.

These equate to the causal aspects of Creation where Saguna Brahma is the Manifest Cause (3) and Nirguna Brahma the Unmanifest Cause (2).

Nirguna Brahma is also called Parama Brahman, Paran Brahman, or Beyond Brahma. This is the equivalent of 2 in the Philosophic interpretation of Arithmetic. It is the mirrored plane without attributes of its own, dark and empty.

In transcending the material (manifest) plane, the plane of darkness extends as a sea plane of emptiness, echoing with the song Shanti Shanti Shantihi.

The first sound ‘Sh-’ is the sound of the waves breaking on the distant shores of Creation.

Meanwhile the observing witness rises above it all, without form but with awareness, on its transcendent journey to the The One.

The One lies beyond this.
