Lessons of the Christ

In the time of Augustus Caesar the lesson, delivered through Jesus, of the Christ was the immateriality of the material world. The great mystery of Christianity has centred on the Resurrection – to fit in with the lessons contained in the mysteries of old. But the lessons of his miracles – the feeding of the 5000 from a single loaf of bread, the changing of water into wine – have all been ignored other than as proofs of him as the ‘only Son of God’. The many miracles of similar sort performed by modern gurus, I am thinking particularly of Satya Sai Baba, but cannot declare that he alone performed such demonstrations, go to show that these gifts are not in anyway exclusive as claimed by the churches through the ages.

But all of this is to miss the point. The point of those miracles was that the material world was a world of appearance and not a substantial reality as is claimed by those who would separate consciousness from the material world.

The religions of the book – Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all make the material world the be all and end of all of Creation. They do this by placing God somewhere else. By destroying the notion of Creation as a Living Vital process, by declaring – along with modern materialistic Science – a definite beginning to Creation at which point, it is claimed, the Universe came into being.

The great majority of religions the world over declare the the world is the living representation of the Divine, whether it is called Wakan tanka or Divine Mother, Shiva or whichever name is given, they all share one thing in common. Creation, the material world in which we live, is Divine in Essence and that means it is uncorrupted.

According to the Ancient philosophers of Greece, and the modern philosophers of India, Creation is in a state of Becoming, founded on an ideal realm of Being – the root, in Sanskrit grammar, rather than the stem, of any word. There is an incorruptible form which exists beyond this realm of Becoming.

It is only in this state of Becoming that we can speak in terms of a corruption. What is corrupted is the form of one existence as it changes into the form of another existence. As if we were to say that the Butterfly is the perfected being and the Caterpillar the Becoming form, but the Chrysalis is a corrupted form. This is ridiculous. Each is a perfected condition of Being even though it may be based on the corruption of a form existing prior to it coming into Being.

There is no doubt in my mind, and I see it as a growing awareness in the minds of others, that Creation is itself Divine and those that seek to relegate it to a position of an object to be exploited, ravaged and destroyed – because it was corrupted by the Fall of Adam or whatever other philosophic standpoint they choose to adopt as excuse – are themselves sadly mistaken about the Paradise in which we all are living.

Lockdown Landgrab

As businesses begin to crash, as I think they will do in a couple of weeks time, we will see the High Street almost empty of anything characteristic of the towns they are found in.

Here in Presteigne, a little border town between England and Wales – population under 5000 at a guess – the several coffee shops and tea houses have had to close, the secondhand shops also are not functioning. We had news two weeks or more ago that the Fish and Chip shop would be closed until further notice. This is a shame as he makes excellent and generous fish and chips. My concern is that the town council will also want their rates paid and so whether the man is working or not that annual figure remains in place. Since this was not a voluntary decision on his part I cannot help but feel it is not his place to pay the debt, but that is not my concern.

My concern is that if he has to close – and be declared bankrupt, for example – we will be left without a fish and chip shop. My mum liked fish and chips once a week and it was a highlight for her of my sister’s visits as she would always stop in town before coming on here to give mum her little treat.

Does this not represent a huge opportunity for the multicorps to step in and buy up choice sites to purvey their trade? But I don’t want a burger bar instead of my local chippie. I want quality service from a man I can relate to and not some spotty youth in a baseball cap and brilliant orange tunic or whatever.

I cannot help but see the lockdown as yet another landgrab. In the history of humanity a nation’s wealth has always been increased by grabbing land, usually the neighbours until the maritime colonisation from Europe took on nations far away from the homeland. It is a practice still in play today among some nations. How many houses were repossessed in 2008 as people defaulted on their mortgages? And how many more can we expect today? Farms will disappear to become tenant holdings to the mega-industrial supermarket ‘own brand’ farms.

Help protect your local community by supporting them where you can. We need a just and strong economy and it is not one based on international banks gambling on the stock market and single currencies.

Slowing down to Nature’s speed

We have witnessed, in the last 150 years, a great increase in industrialisation, which means mechanisation. Once the most complicated machines we used were looms and spinning wheels. Inherently these had to be worked slowly so as not to break the threads. The economy was based on agriculture, with great animals a feature of the daily life of the many, and, due to a lack of cooling facilities, remained primarily local in extent. If the corn ran out the whole area starved together or lived on alternatives. Buckwheat has remained a significant crop for many cultures but has only gained prominence in Britain as a gluten free flour in recent years. Certainly not as a commercial crop, as it is in France and Russia– unless by a few specialist producers.

Since then the world has become dominated by mechanical devices, recently supplanted by electronic devices. All of which have served to increase the separation of humanity from Nature, its source and home, and to increase the pace of life, and with it the pressure endured, to an irrational level. This has been further increased by the divorcing of the economy from ‘real’, that its to say material, goods and social services, to allow the creation of a speculative system for the increase of monetary (imaginary) holdings, or 0’s on bank statements, in what has been called the Global Casino. Money, this hypothetical non-related money, has become an end in itself. The game is to speculate, and money is to be made in split second decisions as traders play in the big game. You have to be on the ball to gamble. But as Dylan said, ‘the wheel’s still in spin’.

Now as businesses are forced into isolation and close down through the corona virus suddenly the pace of life is slowed. People are lost, in freefall, as their lives take on a distinctly different pace. Those locked in high rise blocks find they are restricted to occasional forays into the outside world and obliged to recognise the prison-like conditions they formerly accepted by working outside the home. Now they are held within the emotional confines of their own homes, and, through the walls and adjoining floors and ceilings, those of their neighbours surrounding them. Many, of course, spend their time on line, so that in addition to the emotional atmosphere they are held within, they are also surrounded by radiations from television, electrical circuits and wifi, all of which have been shown to be detrimental to the well-being of the human body.

This breeds a condition for social unrest and we have yet to see the effects long term on people held in such restriction. For those lucky enough to have a garden or patio the restriction is nothing like so severe. Of course, for the majority of our leaders – politicians, bankers, lawyers – the question does not arise. A second home in the country allows them to enjoy seclusion, as distinct from what the majority of the nation suffers in the form of ‘self-isolation’.

It is my hope that we do not see a rise in social unrest and criminal activity at this time, though the presence of a police force empowered to interfere with people in their daily exercise or other activities comes precious close to a) cowing the public and b) the acclimatisation of that public to living in a police state. This is further promoted through the use of the armed forces to supplement nursing staff and police duties. The building of emergency hospitals is hardly an answer to the problem if there are no staff to serve in them. Particularly when the venues chosen serve only to inflate the wealth of those in some distant land.

However my purpose is not to warn of the public dangers of the current ‘lockdown’ but to speak of a return to a more natural pace of life. From the mad spinning of the roulette wheel of financial speculation which dominates the world economy – i.e. the value of the money in your pocket – and causes the pace of life to grow ever faster, we are obliged to take a more leisurely pace, to actually see our children and face ourselves, as day after day we are fed nothing new on the news but growing numbers of deaths from a virus we were assured was no more dangerous than flu, and countless repeats of programmes watched years ago.

I am trying to paint a picture which is positive. It is one of self-reflection and accepting of personal responsibility; the recognition that life is a gift, not a given; that death is a certainty, if we assume this material body as our identity; that others daily put their lives in danger to serve society as a whole; and that life itself nestles within the greater field of Nature herself. For me this is the greatest gift we can be given, to remember we are natural creatures and to consider the impact of human (and economic) life on the world of Nature at large. Will it stop people demanding ever more delicious face creams, or boundless quantities of fish? It is unlikely to do so, but perhaps it will help the great majority to realise the insane way in which life has been lead up to the present, and to call for a change in the way they are obliged to make a living.

Sadly I can also see that it will be used as a ploy to spread the canker of 5G around the world, masking whatever that holds behind its high-speed exchange.

5G and Reverse Engineering

The problem I have with reverse engineering technology, I am thinking here of that applied to the UFOs that have been ‘rescued’ after crashing, is that we have no idea of the circumstances under which the technology we are exploring has been developed.

I am thinking specifically of the planets on which the original engineers lived who developed this inter-stellar technology. Let us recognise the uniqueness of this planet we inhabit. It has a certain amount of iron which leads to the development of a magnetic field of a given strength. Now we appreciate that by increasing the amount of iron the magnetic field will change. If, for example, there is a 75% iron content the magnetic field will be much stronger than a planet such as Earth which has only a 5 % iron content.

As a result the vehicles that will be developed under the conditions of even as little an increase as 25 % of iron will be very different from that which will be suitable to a planet with only a small iron content.

The question arises, why did the vehicles crash in the first instance? Was it that the magnetic field, in comparison with the gravitational field, was disproportionate to that required to keep the vessel afloat?

However, by using reverse engineering we can possibly recreate the modes of transport developed, but then to allow the vehicles to actually prove of use we will need to create magnetic fields sufficiently strong enough to support them.

That in brief is my concern with the process of reverse engineering technology when the source of the vessel concerned remains unknown. After all according to the latest astronomical science there are no other planets suitable to support intelligent life. But then the argument remains alive in some scientific circles that other species on earth are also unintelligent.

Supposing that such reverse technology has taken place we have to ask why there is a massive pressure to create 5G mobile networks when all the evidence points towards the increased electro-magnetic fields involved being detrimental to life on Earth? Could it be to support a new mode of transport?

Time will tell.

But more importantly why is there not the same interest in exploring the relatively subtle electro-magnetic fields of earth with the same passion? Dr Eric Laithwaite was ridiculed for his interest and exploration into this largely undiscovered area of scientific research. I recommend you view his presence on Youtube.

Brass

The Banking World

We hear today that the HSBC is about to reduce its global workforce by 15% as it did not make the annual profits expected. It only made a profit of 10 Billion – I am not sure whether that is pounds or dollars but compare it with the National Budget for Wales, a small country living as part of the United Kingdom, population 3.139 million people.

Apparently the problem for the HSBC was not in their high street banking affairs but some unwise investments in America. I think that will hardly be comforting news for the 35000 workers who will receive severance pay as part of the ‘rationalisation’ of the bank. Clearly there is no consideration for the lives of those people.

The National budget for Wales 2019-2020? It was calculated at £16,400 million – not even .2% of the sum that HSBC complained about making last year.

There is a myth that governments and banks, and after all governments are subsidiary to – that is to say dependent upon – banks, are ‘for the people’. The current Prime minister of England is calling his government ‘the government of the people’ in the hope that ‘the people’ will be gullible enough to believe his first concern is their well-being.

But this is the age of perception and transparency, and while gungho phrases like ‘government of the people’ and ‘get it done’ may make very good sound bites, when it comes to the aid that is extended to the people whose homes have just been flooded through England and Wales – I have not heard of Scotland’s plight in these storms, – we can expect business as usual – in the sense that their conditions will be ignored. As are passengers held on a luxury liner infested with Corona Virus similarly left to rot. Just as others were before Christmas with the washing machine scare that caused one leading company to recall thousands of their faulty products because of the electrical fire hazard they sold to an unsuspecting public. Three weeks before Christmas the head of public relations for the company in Britain said they would not be doing anything before Christmas. Business as usual appears to mean – we have no concern for your welfare – will even employ shoddy and dangerous goods, as with the Grenfell Tower fire, and the Hilsborough disaster – as long as we can keep money flowing in our direction.

Throughout the last few months it is very clear that Earth and Nature are fighting back against the reluctant governments of the world whose prime interest is not the well-being of the planet and its population, but retaining power at the next election and doing the bidding, apparently, of the corporations who actually run this world. The naked hidden agenda here is to ensure their own careers and income.

Nature told us years ago that aeroplanes were not acceptable as a mode of transport. A flock of geese sacrificed themselves to make humanity see that this was the case. Polluting the upper atmosphere with petrochemical fumes is a recipe for disaster. I wonder if the ‘chem trails’ that many are concerned for are not a measure to take some of this highly flammable residue out of the atmosphere.

However, if 10 billion is not enough for a single corporation and its shareholders, I wonder how the unemployed will feel when they have to sacrifice their houses to put food on their table.

January – a time of change

Two changes coming for me this month. The first is the reason I am writing this email and tha is the second dimension of the GEDS course I am taking in Ecological design.

We are looking at climate change and what can be done.

Among the resources shared is this one from NASA.

to view the effects of climate change. https://climate.nasa.gov/interactives/climate_time_machine

The second change is a trip to Holland next week to dance with Gabriele Wosien. A treat indeed.

Christmas 2019

It was the last day of Christmas, January 6th 2020. Evening had fallen and passed into night as I lay and suddenly became aware that I had not taken down the decorations as intended. Into my mind popped an image of a lanky fellow with deer-like horns on his head, crossing a road and waving goodbye. I was startled and even before asking the question the answer arose in my mind that this was the Spirit of Yule departing. I was sorry I had not made more effort over the period to make contact with the many beings who had helped beautify the home for the festive season.

I realised He was not the same being as the Yule Father I met some two or three years ago. He had something of the air of the Artful Dodger about him. Certainly Dickensian.

Then I became aware of our front room. We had had a small tree, about 30-50 cm tall standing on the corner of a sideboard with presents piled around it. Now, in the vision, the centre of the room was taken up by a tree that filled the room from floor to ceiling. It was large and perfectly formed radiating a mass of light. Fully decorated the tree shone with a warm golden light nourishing and beaming good cheer.

I have no idea who brought it for us. I am very grateful to them for doing so. I had asked Jesus to overlight our time together and had occasionally been aware of his presence and inspiration calming the waters between us. Perhaps it was his gift to us. I cannot say. I was sorry I had not been aware of it formerly. I am grateful I was made aware of it at all. The New Year has begun with a joy and a harmony between us that was not present before the turn of the year. I still feel the presence of that luminous tree pouring its love all around.

Gods bless us, One and All.

Transplants ‘n’ Things

“You know, go down to the farm. ‘You want a nice set of gonads, man?’ ‘Uh, don’t the cat mind?’ ‘No, no. They love it. Its the way they’re raised.’ (With apologies to Murray Roman, for any misquotes.)

Maybe this laid the scare in me. Or maybe its the horror of ‘manburgers’.

But on a different note the human is an incarnation of the soul. Of course this is only one view of Creation which according to others is an accident of gravity. According to esoteric science in place of gravity, which is the principle of one mass attracting another, Creation is often seen as the principle of Precipitation, in which one, usually seen as more subtle and pervading, form condenses to another more dense and limited form.

Following this notion, we come across, in the writings of Alice Bailey, the idea of the atoms, or permanent atoms, of the physical, emotional and mental bodies. These, we are told, are withdrawn into the soul at death. On incarnating again the soul precipitates the atoms into the growing physical (emotional and mental) sheaths to supply the corresponding conditions to the body as it left.

These sheaths equate to the etheric bodies of the individual and where a calamity has occurred, be it an accident or other impact, or disease or other debilitating condition, a scar is left at the relevant level or levels within those etheric templates that lead to inherent weaknesses or debilities in bodies manifested by that soul in subsequent incarnations. For the soul to evolve and grow to its fullness it has to release these scars from those lower levels of itself. It is not only the skills and gifts the life inherits from the soul but also these debilities.

Once more according to traditional wisdom it takes the soul some three days – or more – to separate from the physical body. It does this by a process of steady withdrawal absorbing the atoms, or etheric bodies into itself. For those who have identified more strongly with the body and a particular lifetime it may not be possible to separate cleanly from the former corpse but seeking to relive the pleasures of that former lifetime it may remain hanging in the lower astral realms and become one of those known as ‘hungry ghosts’ in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Record of these are found in many native traditions which often have strong taboos to stop the return of a person once they have died. Thus some will refuse to mention the name of the dead person again. Others will carry out powerful rituals to protect the family, individual or village against spirits. This is in distinction from the worship of ancestors and the invitation to them to be present at important occasions.

Now the problem I see with transplanting organs is that scars will be left within the souls of those from whom the organs are taken so that when they incarnate again those organs will carry with them the disruption of the transplant operation. For those who declare the world is a mechanical process it is of course absurd to consider that the body can carry any memory. Memory is a thing of the brain, they will argue, and carry on to say it is a thing not properly understood as yet. One friend told me he understood memory to be like a shelf with books on it, and as more books (experiences) were gained they pushed the others off the shelf and so he forgot things. My own experience of consciousness is not like that.

We can ignore the moral dilemma the operation of transplanting involves and marvel at the wonders of modern medicine. Or we can take a more selfish, as it has been called to me before, approach and declare that we are wholenesses precipitating into a partial universe, one made up of parts, and thus declare that one wholeness leads to another, while one part cannot predict the whole to which it belongs.
