The heraldic forms are steeped in mystery and rightly belong to the realm of mythology.
Such figures as Centaurs, Unicorns and Pegasi.
Dragons, Gryphons, Wyverns. Giants.
As well as more outlandish and more common creatures from sea creatures with two tales to lions and leopards, deer and dolphin. All are present in the imagery of Heraldry.
But other than descriptions of arms and their mottos no explanation is given of these representations.
Among the insights I have recently received is that dragons – and one might suppose the other beings – are of the elemental kingdom as it expresses in the angelic realm.
As there are three streams of expression emanating from the Source, the Human/Divine, the Elemental and the Angelic , so there are expressions of each in each of their respective realms. These are the realms of the Material, the Etheric and the realms of Consciousness, or what might be called mental, intellectual or rational. They are represented in the human being as the physical body, the Etheric/emotional body (the Aura), and the mental body.
The Siddhe, or Elves, represent the Human stream in the Elemental realm. This is a topic for further discussion elsewhere on this site.
