Crass Music On The BBC

Just getting ready to watch France vs South Africa over tea when the TV died. No picture.

Had to eat hastily and get back to the computer to watch the match. Very exciting. Wouldn’t expect anything less.

Then half time and highlights shown. But the BBC is so impoverished it thought it could get away with automatially generated music. Just no presence of a person involved in it, other than remotely programming a change of instrumentation. Utterly soulless.

But really! What is happening to the BBC? There seems to be a loss of sense of integrity, of what consitutes an asset and what constitutes a loss of quality. We are being left with a self-promoting station advertising itself but lacking in quality. The worst of commercial tv.

Do you wonder you are losing audience appeal?
