I have been watching the movie 47 Ronin. A passable plot and sufficient enchantments to keep one surprised, amused and entertained. Sufficient for me to explore the ideas behind the film to discover the true story of the 47 Ronin.
But the film was marred for me by the constant use of the windows asterisk alert in place of music. There was a passable use of music elsewhere but again and again the windows alert was heard, causing me to wonder at first if it was something to do with the system I was watching it on. What a dreadful shame. Such poverty. Quite dishonours the tale it is supporting.
