I think it goes to show what repression will do for a cult and the persons within it. Not that it is limited to Roman Catholics. We have heard of two instances of child abuse from the relatively liberal Church of England (their priests can marry) within the space of a month. Seems some people want to become spiritual leaders to get their hands on little boys and girls.
Although come to think of it there are a couple of American rappers who are also on trial for child abuse, so perhaps it is not just spiritual leaders.
